E.G.O. Turkey - a subsidiary of E.G.O. (Elektro-Geraetebau Oberderdingen) Group of Companies based in Oberderdingen, Germany - which started operating in Turkey in 1989, produces in its Çorlu facilities tubular heating elements, radiant heating elements and castings for the household appliances.

Established following the development of the first hot plate in the world by Karl Fischer in 1931, E.G.O. Group of Companies is today the leading supplier of components for converting electrical energy to heat and controlling this process. It has around 7.000 employees in around 20 countries and an annual turnover about 500 million Euros.

With its experience reaching 80 years, E.G.O. Group of Companies offers new products in household appliances technology everyday that make life more comfortable.

E.G.O. Turkey, exporting 70% of its production, is the biggest product supplier of the leading white goods producers of Turkey since 1989.

With 100% German capital, E.G.O. Turkey employs about 600 people in its tubular heating elements factory, radiant heating elements factory and cast iron foundry in its facilities on the Çorlu-Lüleburgaz highway.

In 1995,E.G.O. Turkey EGO Turkey had "ISO9002: 1994 Quality Assurance System" certification from the TSE and the DOS. In 2003, It passed "ISO9001: 2000 Quality Management System" certification (TSE and DOS). In 2009 , "ISO9001: 2008 Quality Management System" and "ISO14001: 2004 Environmental Management System" certifications were obtained (TSE).

At the same time, It has the TSE - VDE - UL product certifications.
